A Good Samurai is Hard to find Quest Question *Spoilers*

As someone who reads everything when it comes to quests and enjoys following the story, I became puzzled on this quest "A good samurai is hard to find" the one where we are looking for Yugiri and Gosetsu.

Alphinaud states "We four can begin our search by questioning the individuals Hancock identified"

Which through me of cause Hancock never mentioned any individuals in any quest prior, is this just a typo or did I somehow miss where he mentions so and so people?
