Overpricing part ???
Sorry for making another overpricing thread but this is tilting me as a house lover :T

This proves how some greedy people are for gils. Omega is a new server for example.
Asking price should be the worth how much you actually paid for the plot and not double it alot if you are not going to use it anyways.
With Shirogane at the corner it will be silly to see people only purchase just to resell and double the prices.
Yoshi should make a frkn state alrdy. Well he say something about it on Live letterLAST YEAR but not everybody watches live letters. Thing is i alrdy forgot what he said. XD
Also people might dont see this as important matter but it should be priorized than male bunny suit or whatever.

The player base is in part to blame, but this falls on SEs shoulders. They give players little to no options. Players react to what they are given.

Square has the ability to program the game to prevent this, they choose not to. As far as I can see the GMs do nothing to prevent this either. Yoshi made a vague "as long as the price is not too high" type of statement, but that doesn't tell us anything. Not too high for a billionaire is much different than what it means to someone living paycheck to paycheck, we need specifics or they need to ban the practice, program against it and take action against those trying to get around the rules.

Try coming to Balmung. Problem is miserable and 30 mil isn't even close to what you see people trying to sell smalls for....the problem is really really bad right now and only going to get worse since it seems like everyone is holding out hopes to get a Shirogane house but....there aren't enough.

I think it's time we all admit Square doesn't give a shit about their handling of housing and it honestly remains to be seen if they ever will.

Sad, but normal.
Balmung housing has been going for 10-30 times what the 'vanilla' housing price is for years. They're not the only server.. but among the worst. Honestly that's not a bad price, and most will ask for more at a start, but settle for a little lower (by a little, I mean at lowest about 23 million. For a small whose plot cost them 3.)
The problem there is supply and demand. Square hasn't supplied enough housing to allow access to all content for even a moderately acceptable amount of the players on hand. So this happens.
