Rare GC Leves?

I have heard of rare GC leves but had never seen one...until now...I think?

What are all the other rare GC's people have encountered?

Hmm, well I can't read that video since you didn't render into HD unless you JUST uploaded lol. (Best to let the video process before making it public.)

But yeah there are some rare GC leves out there that happens every few cycles, I haven't gotten one yet but I know a few who have because they were like "Well this is new o.O"

Are they given out by random npcs out in the field? I was making my way to Bloodshore the other day and ran into a lone Mi'Qote npc with a green name on the far other side where Cedarwood Aetherite is located. They didn't speak to me, but I saw no player characters around that may have activated them from a faction leve or something.

EDIT: Oops, nevermind! Went to Bloodshore again and finally saw people doing a Factionleve with said NPC.

sadly I will not be paying for the upgraded program for video capturing so this is the highest the quality can get. But I posted the title of the leve "Back in Back". Involves finding mobs and using the /poke emote on them to see if they possess crystals, if they do, kill them, then use said crystals to "detect" snurbles from other mobs.

Also the leve was given to me at the Halatali leve guy. Ive done probably close to 50 of them in recent weeks and this is the 3d type of leve and the first of its kind that I have seen. Normally I get "protect that random NPC for 15 minutes", or "kill these random mobs for 15 minutes".

Since I had never seen this type of GC leve before I decided to record it.

back in back and eye of the miner are not really rare. They just become avaiable after you rank third class sergeant

really? It's the first time I've ever seen anything other than the first 2 and I've been doing them for awhile now.
I need 2.5k more seals to get anything, and by the time I get that (cause tbh I am having a hard time finding a reason to play the game nowadays) there will probably be something new that is better that I need to work towards.

So if this is not the rare GC leve then what is?

If it's not a rare GC leve then it's a normal GC leve o.Oª
I mean, I'm an adder and I've been doing this kind of GC leves (/poke involved) so many times since patch 1.20 @ both The Mun-Tuy Cellars (level 30) and Treespeak (level 40) camps.

yes they arent rare you just have to be sergeant to be able to do them.. if you wanna get seals fast and have leve allowance to blow just keep spamming the NPC and if u get a leve that isnt one of the 2 /poke ones just take it and abandon it immediately and repeat until you get one of those. i usually do them on 3 stars and can finish in 2-4 minutes.

One wierd thing is tho at 3 stars u get 90+10 for difficulty but sometimes i get an extra 10 for a total of 110. they leve results window doesnt describe what the extra 10 is for, and ive gotten it with both speed and without speed bonuses

Not really rare, I've been doing GC quest in Gridania (level 40) at first I was only getting defend the archeologist and Exterminate raptors/elementals, Now I'm getting a lot of these "search" leves, like 6/10 are either "A fine host" or "eyeopener" which are the same as the type in that screenshot.

To get the bonus you have to use the /poke to find the crystal bearing mobs, ONLY kill the crystal bearing mobs, use the crystal to detect Furble/Ahriman, and ONLY kill Furble/Ahriman, basically, if you kill/attack one of the "filler" mobs, that don't have a monster hidden inside them and don't carry a crystal, your bonus is forefit, Experimented with this the other day, I'm certain this is the bonus rule.
