"The Ties That Bind" bug

Steps:
1. Currently trying to abandon the quest The Ties That Bind, but unable to as the ceremony is complete.
2. Whenever I try to turn the quest into Claribel I hit "complete" and the chat prints that I receive a ceremony chocobo but the quest is still in the logs and still unable to transfer upon logging out.
3. Also whenever I talk with Sanctum Acolyte (I only have the option to cancel) whenever I do this, I get the message "Could not discard the promise wristlet. An error has occurred.
4. It seems to be an un-ending loop speaking to either of them and I do not have the wristlets anywhere. I need the quest removed so that I may transfer to play with friends elsewhere.
5. tl;dr basically need a quest purge from my quest logs so that I may transfer as I am locked with the quest. Thank you.
