Looking for updates on following 2 questions...

My search fu is weak, I have been trying to find updates on the following questions with no luck.

1. When will we be able to buy more then 1 job jump potion per service account? Someone said it would become available when 4.1 came out but I have not seen any update on it.

2. Are they going to make the other 2 carbuncles (Obsidian and now Moonstone) available to us as egi glamours? If so do we have a time frame?

I was hoping there would be a thread posted for a Q & A part of tomorrows live letter, but I haven't seen one yet.

1. No word on update to limits on job potions. I believe the most they've said is that there've been less sales than expected, which -- purely speculation -- may hint they'll be keeping the limit for a while.

2. Also no word on this.

The live letter may have an answer for your first question, but I doubt they'll be covering egi glamours, unfortunately.

Just to add information for your first question. What was mentioned before by Yoshi is that they will keep track of how much the potion is being used and then decide whether to remove the limit maybe by 4.1 or not. It had not been mentioned before that it will become absolutely available by 4.1. So like ILEA said wait for info with this coming live letter. :)

I very much doubt we'll get the any of the special Carby models that are used by NPCs.

We already got the Ruby one, that was supposedly created by Alphianud

Actually according to the lore book Ruby is one of the four most commonly used carbuncles. Emerald, Topaz, Ruby, and Diamond are standard carbuncles in lore. The special ones would be Onyx, Moonstone, and Amber.

It doesn't matter which Carbuncles are used by whom - lore wise, SMNs don't run around with Carbuncles, they run around with Egis in the form of Carbuncles. Alphinaud can create as many Carbies as he wants and we'd still be very much lore-compliant by copying them off of him by slapping it on an Egi.

That said, I hope we'd sooner get other Egi glamours. The only setback to that, compared to Carbuncle glamours, I imagine, is that they'd be limited because it's not the same model with a different color palette so the animations are the same. Namely, they'll be role-locked. WTB Shiva (Titan - tank in shield/sword form), Levi (Ifrit - melee), and Ramuh (Garuda - ranged). Also I'd kill for Warring Triad glamours. Seph for tank, Zurvan for melee, and Sophia for ranged. I don't care if they'll be locked behind a level 70 quest to explain how we can suddenly have them, I want it so bad.

And if they make Mog an all-around Egi-Glamour that can be used for all roles I'd die a happy moogle-fanatic.
