Campaign

Hello,

I not sure if it has already been suggested but I would love to see Campaign from ffxi in ffxiv for like Grand Company seals and exp reward? Like if you would like it added to ffxiv to ::cool::cool:

We do its called Behest.

Behest just doesn't have the campaign feel to it. I think it's because you are going out and killing random animals. Maybe if they had garleans attacking the outposts, sorta like what they did with the deaspected crystals thing. There isn't really a feeling of urgency to defend the outposts right now.

This would probably be a 2.0 thing anyway, since there will be a greater garlean threat (presumably) at that time.

Behest is a not quite campaign. I just cant wait until we are done killing livestock and start taking on more challenging mobs from the nethervoid or magitek stuff.

Behest is nothing like campagin. Campagin battle had waves of monsters, NPC's that you could recruit to help you fight, the battles lasted a long time, you had medals and a rank system is which you could rank up. You could get points to purchase armor with and other things from doing campagin battle.

Well the Defending the fortress battles they mentioned sounded a bit like Campaign.

Campaign and Nyzul Isle type battles/zones seem to be the most common request. Frankly I am good with either of these but dont expect to see them for a bit.

Which is fine, I would rather the devs take some time and do it right then rush it and screw it up

It hasn't been detailed, but my assumption is that "Hamlet Defense" is similar to campaign and will be coming soonish.

behest is different he means something far better, and for those who dont know what they are check those in youtube, you'll see what he means.

But we have something similar on the way called hamlet defense, maybe with a little luck be something like that.
