It seems like the post moogle quests were extremely well received, which just brings up the obligatory point of what kind of content people would be willing to give up for more lore. Dungeons and raids seem like a fair price.

I think more Postmoogle quests should be present in the odd-numbered patches. Give us more SB lore!
those you could only do once. if you get rid of repeatable content i don't think the playerbase would be very happy with you.
Every SB zone has a longer quest chain or two that tells you a lot about the area/locals' way of life. Moogles aren't involved, but if you haven't gotten them done I'd really recommend them :}
The post moogle quests were very BADLY received.
Once they dropped, a substantial portion of vocal players found themselves unable to progress the Post Moogle quest chains as they were missing small town quests with no easy way to find the exact ones they skipped at a low level. While the questline is really fun for us lore fans, there was an understandable outcry of frustration that players who were anything less than a completionist from level 1 were missing out. And since the quests were side-story only, you get no tangible reward besides a vanity hat and an extra page a dialogue to smash through everytime you check your mail.
That's why the quest chains in normal towns are so much longer and more numerous in HW and SB. They satisfy both sides of giving good EXP and gear when you need it and filling us story fans with new lore.
I enjoy side quests and lore a LOT but I’m not giving up anymore content for non-repeatable content. We've already lost a decent chunk of dungeons each content patch in 3.0 and now it’s even more 4.0. That was for the sake of us getting more compelling content in 3.0 and what did we get? Lord of Verminion and Daidem, two really huge flops and 2 decent pieces of content ( Aquapolis and PotD ).
We should in no way be compromising more repeatable content for "newer more compelling content" unless we know it is going to be just that and not Lords of Verminion or Moogle Posts Quests.
I'm convinced OP is a Troll.
