Unable to annul eternal bonding

I am unable to annul an eternal bond. I have bought gold wristlets during the sale and got the bond with a friend. We had the process work fine however we only did it with for the items. Another of my friends wanted to as well, so i had purchased another gold wristlet during the sale. We had not annulled the bond at that point due to the 10 day time limit.

He has now broken the bond without issue. I have provided my eternity ring to the Acolyte in which when the dialoge ended he claimed i was still in a bond. He now constantly demands an eternity ring to end the bond however he's already eaten the one i gave him. I can't annul the bond, he also seems to not see that i have a gold promise of passion. If i have one equipped or in my inventory he claims i don't have one if i ask to discard it.


Steps:
1. Get married
2. Purchased a promise of passion while still married
3. Provided ring to NPC to have it annuled
4. NPC constantly demands ring still even though it was consumed
5. ????
6. Profit
