DRK BIS - O2S gloves or Lost Allagan?

Here is a status break down:

O2s
Skill Speed 156
Tenacity 109

Lost Allagan
Skill Speed 109
Determination 156

It breaks down between choosing det over tenacity with some Skill Speed loss.

Considering all the dps that is required from us tanks, I dropped my ten build and went DH on the left, so I'm more inclined for a det glove.

Please tell me your opinion on the matter.

Allagan gloves, no contest.
Det is your second highest DPS secondary after DH and skill speed is undesirable for the most part.

The gloves do not drop in o2s. It does not matter that you buy them with o2s pages, they drop in o3s. This has been a thing since Midas - they switched head to the second encounter, gloves to third, but didn't bother to change what you can buy with pages. This continued through Creator, and now Omega.

Huh, I haven't done 03S yet but I've gloves 340 for many jobs... And I've loot them in O2S.

The gloves drop in O2S.

Hmm. I got gloves from 3 so they must drop from both. I'm rocking them for now, as I'd rather use twines on chest or legs first.

According to accomp.me, gloves / boots / helmets are spread out between O2S and O3S. O1S has the widest spread of drops (23), while the next two instances each have 14 different potential drops aside of their guaranteed extras.


O1S – Accessories, Waist, Datalog 1.0
O2S – Feet (Aiming, Casting, Fending, Healing, Striking, Maiming), Hands (Aiming, Casting, Healing, Maiming, Scouting), Head (Fending, Scouting, Striking), Glaze, Early Model Tomestone, Datalog 2.0
O3S – Feet (Scouting), Hands (Fending, Striking), Head (Aiming, Casting, Healing, Maiming), Legs, Twine, Roborant, Datalog 3.0
