The Zodiac "Saga" has been a terrible experience for me.... It shouldn't be.

The AMOUNT OF MONEY (Gil) a player has SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT determine whether that player earns his or her Relic Weapon!!!!

The relic weapon, for all of the trouble a player goes through to earn this, should have a higher item level than the much easier-to-earn 'Allagan Tomestone of Poetics' equipment. It does not. The Zodiac "Saga" lacks substance and the story feels incredibly redundant and is not interesting at all from a lore perspective! It ABSOLUTELY should be! The running around that players have to do is an insult to quality story-telling. Endless farming and endless throwing away 'Gil' for repeating material demands is COMPLETELY unnecessary and lame!

Final Fantasy is about STORY, it's about IMAGINATION, it's about INTERACTIVE ART! And that should hold true for EVERY quest.

Get with the program SQUARE-ENIX and FIX the ZODIAC "SAGA". It's the most PATHETIC event item construct I've experienced in an online game yet. There is no reason for all of this nonsense. Either improve it or remove it completely!

Sorry to tell you, but the player base is pretty content with it being a grind. And it absolutely should be. When it's released it's a free raid-tier weapon without even touching raids. You gotta work for your welfare.

Also, the quest has been absolutely gutted compared to what people actually had to do. Either suck it up or don't do it.

This is not a f'ing SAGA. This is a pathetic attempt to make the game grindy without actually feeling worthwhile in ANY way shape or form.

It's not story content brah. It's optional side-content bro for those that want a free weapon bru. Your own fault man for wanting it to be something it's not.

As Pence mentioned, it's optional, there is nothing forcing you to get a relic (there is absolutely no content gated behind it or requires it), it's just something extra to do in the game now for completion's sake as they're long since obsolete. If you don't like the grind fine, don't do the quest line, it's as simple as that (I mean, I admit I dislike grinding for them too, so I just abandoned the whole thing at the atma stage and never went back to it, nor have I even ever bothered with the anima weapon quest in Heavensward as I just can't be bothered with the grind. But the quest is there for those who do like it and want the weapon.).

And before you pass judgement, players actually wanted SE to make it grindy, so if you want someone to blame, blame other players not SE. SE are just trying to keep everyone happy.

It's almost like you have to work to get a legendary weapon that doesn't even exist in the world lore-wise yet. How peculiar and unfair, indeed.

Pence, you're just making excuses for Square-Enix for designing something poorly. You and everyone like you are gluttons for punishment if you think endlessly grinding for a sub-standard quality item is an ideal way to supplement end-story content. It makes me wonder how you spend the rest of the time in your life. Do you value your actual life time at all!?

Don't call it the Zodiac "Saga" if there is no Saga. PERIOD. NO STORY = NO SAGA. FIX IT SQUARE-ENIX!

But I'VE ALREADY STARTED THE "SAGA". Why would I quit now?? I will have to see it through or it will feel incomplete. IT IS STILL BAIT either way. And it is not fair to players who want something of substance associated with the title 'Zodiac Braves Saga'.

Also, is Square-Enix implying, through the story, that these so-called Zodiac Braves, with all of their ancient relics, somehow had to fight all of these lame monsters, FATEs, and LEVEQUESTS (lul), "thousands" of years ago? The Ancients, so "powerful" just somehow had the same mixed up errands as the player. Seems like a fitting way to mash a bunch of nonsense inside of an endless 'Matryoshka Doll'.

The story fails miserably for that reason. If you're going to make an endless grind, just let it be an endless grind instead of stitching scraps of a failed and obviously synthetic story to it.

They know what we expect from relic quests.....we know it'll be a grind....because it's easy content which rewards raid tier weapons.....
