WAR Cross-Class

What are WARs running for cross-class abilities these days?

Ultimatum over provoke? Both?
Are low blow or Interject useful?

Trying to get into this tanking thing - appreciate any suggestions.

Using Rampart, Low Blow, Convalescence, Reprisal and Ultimatum at the moment.

Rampart, convalescence, awareness, reprisal and provoke.

If i need shirk for tank swap i trade conva or reprisal for it.


Ultimatum is kinda pointless as overpower enmity got buffed and is powerful now.

Awareness is used with raw intuition.

Reprisal is good prior to tank buster or raid wide aoe attacks.

Others are self explanatory xD

Shirk should be for all 8-mans, tank swap or no. A good Shirkle Jerk (TM) means way less aggro combos from the MT and way more sweet, sweet tank DPS.

i got my 8-man cross-class,and my 4-man

4-man:
anticipation, awareness, conva, ultimatum, rampart

8 man
rampart, provoke, reprisal, shirk, awareness/conva

If you do savage it should look something like this:

Rampart, Shirk, Awareness, Reprisal, Provoke

You can trade out awareness for convo if you want (unless you're doing o3s, awareness is mandatory in o3s) and you can coordinate with your healers, personally I prefer awareness.

If you pretty much only plan on doing dungeons:

Rampart, Awareness, Convo, Provoke, Reprisal

Awareness is mandatory in dungeons to combine with raw intuition on big trash pulls. I tend to take reprisal for dungeons too just to mitigate party-wide aoe that most bosses do, but it's not necessary by any means. If you wanna swap it out for something else then go ahead-I just can't really think of anything I'd prefer over it.

Bread and butter:
Provoke, Rampart, Convalescence

in 4-Mans:
Awareness, Anticipation

In 8-Mans:
Shirk, Reprisal

Specific savage fights/strats call for other role action combinations.

It's kind of a wash either way, war isn't exactly lacking for cds to use during trash pulls, and bosses hit like tissue paper regardless. Mostly I'm just too lazy to switch out cross roles between raid and expert roulettes.
