I did not read anything the notes about moving apartments to the new housing. Will this be done the same as housing? Will all the items in my current apartment be moved to the storage of the new one as well? Or should I start transferring all items to a retainer?
They've not mentioned apartments have the moving function at all so at this point if you want an apartment in the new area I'd prepare to strip down your apartment. There might be more info on the live letter that's been confirmed for the 29th.

The preliminary patch notes specifically state there will not be a move option for apartments and you cannot demo a house/apartment if anything is still in the store room. If you plan on moving shop make sure to completely clear out your apartment and revoke ownership beforehand. :)
