Free Company...apartments?

What if they took the apartment concept, and made a Free Company only version?

Is this something Free Companies without a house would like?

For the sake of argument, let's say that each building can house 90 Free Companies (I think apartments hold 90 rooms which is where that number came from).

This would allow 8,640 (after Shirogane) free companies to access features like the workshop and player rooms and anything new which requires houses.

Each FC Hall could do the same thing as apartments and have a chocobo stable out front. Perhaps they could either figure a way to share gardens OR maybe make an interior planter that could be used for cross-breeding.

They could do this by adding 1 structure to each zone.

Considering the limitations of apartments and the time it takes them just to copy/paste things, I'd rather they just go full hog on instanced housing (outdoor/indoor area with all the features) than try to do more apartments.

I think it's a wonderful idea. I would be super nice especially for start up FC's to call a place home. I personally am getting ready to found an fc and have tweaked my apartment for meetings and such but alas other players still can't interact with anything.

I think this is a great idea and would be very useful for people who want their own FC but don't mind having a modest location. Some solo (or very very small) Free Companies would still want to show off if they have a large lot with all the trimmings, but other people would be happy with a door to a workshop off an apartment. Make a 4-slot indoor gardening box and you have the all the conveniences of a FC hall using the existing apartment code.

The more ways we have to free up housing plots without players feeling like their "stuff" is being taken away, the better.
