What gear/stat should DRK aim for?

So i'v been playing this game off and on again,recently leveled my DRK to 70 and was wondering what gear and stat should i focus on.

Searched alot about it on forums/reddit etc and some people say crit/direct hit other say tenacity/det.


So im kinda confused about crafted lv70 gear in game or tomstone of creation gear.

for example Susano greatsword and Chromite greatsword are both i320 just one has crit rate and skill spd and the other one has determination and tenacity.

I'm guessing one is for tanking and other one is for having more dps? should maybe mix them or go full tank/crit?

Used to have 1,6k tenacity and wanted to try out dungeons with more crit,so i changed gear a bit and my tenacity fall to 900+ and i don't really notice any difference in tanking in dungeons.

IMO Ten/Det over Crit/SS

Det with Direct Hit melds. Crit can't go high enough with current gear tier to be interesting, as of right now det is more efficient. SS is still meh, and Ten is an overall good stat but not optimal DPS-wise and the extra mitigation can't go high enough for it to matter even in high end content.

But don't worry too much about it if you don't have access to savage gear yet or don't plan to do savage at all. Secondary stats in FFXIV are very weak and don't make much of a difference in the end, the most important thing is to get the highest ilvl you can. Weapon damage >>> STR >> secondaries.
