Final Fantasy XIV - Discounted Rates

Hello everyone! :o
I finally remembered to set the paying method for FFXIV through SE Account Management, but when I logged in I saw something that confused me. Here is it:

Well, 4794 Crysta. But I read this some time ago:

FINAL FANTASY XIV Billing Information

Where as you can see, under the voice "Discounted Rates effective until FINAL FANTASY XIV Version 2.0" the cost of 180 days service is 29.94 € (2994 C).
Can anyone help me out please? :confused:

you actualy read it wrong

the discounted rate was 5+3 per month for 6 months(or 7+3 if you go month to month)

base service fee before the charcter fee

the discount is simple, the game was supposed to be 12.99 a month
now its 9.99 a month

or if you pay 6 months its 7.99 a month


what you missed is right under what you saw where it states

* One character save slot as well as a basic service fee is required to play FINAL FANTASY XIV.
* The price for one character save slot is $3.00. An additional $3.00 charge will apply for every additional character save slot.



which says thats the fee before the charcter fee(its wierd they do it like this but the top of the post you made states the correct price and when it breaks it down it looks odd)

yeah it was a bit convoluted the way they posted it. The discounted version didn't include the 3 dollar character fee, and the base sub fee does not include a character. So you have to also calculate the 3 dollar character fee for each month plus the base sub fee that is discounted. I hope that helped.

what the OP was missing is right under the 4.99 price it stated this
