How do i change my username in the official FFXIV forums?

Hi, firstly to say thanks for this game i always loved the Final Fantasy and Persona series but FFXIV is the best game i ever played its just that i have a small issue. When i bought FFXIV and created my Square Enix account it was years ago when my PC could not handle the game, i didn't know what i was doing when picking the usernames and such and now that i have a new PC and started playing, when i got access to the forum i saw that my username is still what i put back then without being able to change it, and i also couldn't buy another FFXIV because its tied to my Steam account and all my progress is there.

The other forums of games usually offer some kind of forum name change, either free name change by messaging the mods or editing your profile, paid name change by paying an amount of money to change it or a single name change per account without second chances. Is there anything similar here because i want to have the same name that i have on my Steam or am i stuck with this.

Unfortunately there's no way to do that. (If there is please tell me.) I wish I could change mine...

You are stuck with the name, there is no way to change forum name.

I would also love to be able to change my name here.
