So I'm coming to the end of my first month paid sub. I have selected to pay every 30 days (i think) but got an e-mail regarding payment iin a few days needed to carry on playing and to log into MS for my details.
I might be having a brain fart here but is it a recurring 30 day sub or do I have to keep logging in to MS and entering details to pay every 30 days?
Wouldn't like to think this was done to push people into buying the 180 day sub to minimise amount of times you need to enter details.
It's an automatic 30-day subscription. It'll keep charging you every 30 days until you go back into the mogstation and cancel it.
The 90 and 180 day subs are exactly the same, they just offer slightly lower prices.

Confirmed. As I've been doing the 30 day subscription plan since the start of the game (to hell with saving money, I want the freedom to quit whenever I want even if I never do) SE will always send you an e-mail several days before you're automatically billed, so you can make sure your funds are taken care of, or so you can cancel it in case you quit the game and forgot to cancel your sub. Mighty stand-up thing of them to do.
