Do you farm mounts/minions on alts?

I currently have three characters (though one is still leveling) and find myself wanting to use some of the mounts/minions I have on my main on my alts. I especially like birds, but only been able to successfully farm Rose and White lanners so far. Really wanting to use them on my other characters; I have got them both on my other level 70 too, and am planning to do the same on my third alt.

Anyone else a altoholic that does this? Of course I wouldn't have to put myself through the misery if they were account-wide. ._. Though I guess it isn't so bad as Rose and White are pretty easy to get. I doubt I'll ever bother trying to get Kirin again.

Same goes for some minions; everyone should have Ultros of course.

While I have started to slowly level two of my oldest charas (My first chara and a relatively new (pre-HW) chara), I have found myself demotivated in farming much with them. That said. My main didn't get a single minion from the SB dungeons. While my second highest chara (mid SB leveling) has gotten 3!

im in for mount /minion account wide!

This is exactly the reason why I don't have a alt...all the minions, all the mounts, and all those hard-earned titles...have to start all over again

And the worst of all my OCD will not stop until I have them all, sooooooo much work and too little time

I have 4 alts
I'm waiting SE make account-wide for mounts, minions and achievements (too emotes from mog-station)

I have a main character, and four alts.

I only farm on my main, and do whatever I can in events on my alts.

I don't focus on my alts as much as I do my main.

Why shouldn't mounts be account wide? I don't really understand why alts get so little love. I have 4 alts on Siren in addition to my main who are all end game capable and 1 about to enter SB once she hits 60. It's the only alt I did a story jump for. I wish it were different but I don't think it ever will be.

And I don't farm mounts on my alts. I'll do content with friends and get some as I play with them but I don't focus trying to duplicate things i have on my alts.

I wish they were account wide so I didn't have to farm on alts too; but as they aren't I feel forced to farm on all my characters. I do have severe OCD so maybe that's a reason; also I worry if I decide to switch mains I will be missing a lot of mounts/minions.

I obtained the glowing Yokai mount on my main and an alt, as well as the non-glowy one on either 6 or 7 (I forget) others. Don't be me. Turn back now before it's too late!

In all seriousness, I agree that at the very least *certain* mounts and minions should be account-wide, or purchasable through the Calamity Salvager or something on an account that has already obtained them. However it's done though (if ever), should be done in a way that won't prevent the alt from doing the quests/event/content the reward came from if they would still like to.

Also Mog Station minions/mounts should ALL be account-wide, SE! :mad:
