PS4 Unable to Load Launcher or Lodestone

I am reporting for a friend as he cannot load Lodestone or even the launcher on his PS4. Problem occured on Sunday night and he spent about 4 hours trying to figure it out. He has been unable to log in for two days now. Launcher does not load and is a white screen. Lodestone will not connect saying that the site is up but, not responding. He can play any other online game just fine and use the browser for other sites. Only FFXIV and Lodestone cannot be loaded.

I found other users on Reddit unable to log in and they are all located in Southern California where there was a fire on Sunday. Wondering if there are any users who know people that cannot log on due to launcher not loading or Lodestone loading.
