SCH proposed Dissipation Change

Dissipation - No longer gives 20% increased healing, but now resets the cooldown of all Aetherflow skills on use.

Basically the issue I have with dissipation atm is that 99% of the time I need it, our good AF stuff like Excog and Indom are already on cooldown. So I end up using dissipation more for efficiency purposes like burning it all on lustrate and e-drain.

Half of the time I don't even get the benefit of the 20% healing more than once or twice over the duration because popping multiple Adlos or Succors would just wreck my mana bar, and I'm usually too busy trying to get rid of 9 stacks of AF.

Giving us the reset would actually turn it into a nice emergency button, while also giving SCH a needed AoE efficiency/HPS boost. It gives us options like double indom, or a nice panic button with double excog, or just having indom up for two different AOE mechanics.

But Excognition is the only skill it would benefit really. Lustrate is instant so there is no "reset" and sacred soil and indomitability are 30 seconds, but they are more clutch skills, so while a reduced CD would be nice it's kinda moot. Personally I feel Dissipation should act like Enkindle or the new Summon Bahamut, and be Lilys ultimate "heal/attack".

Dissipation would be best if it kills the fairy and resummon it again for free. With that only change Dissipation would be a viable skill.

Indom is not a clutch skill...you pretty much need it on CD for the savage fights because of their AOE spam.

Dissipation isn't really required for non-savage content so making it resummon fairy for free would still not make people use it, in all honesty.

But at that point they might as well just keep the fairy and just have dissipation be a skill that restores 3 AF on a 3m cooldown. That falls in line with the dev's philosophy of making classes simpler, so a rework like that might work.

Literally the same thread on the second page, why do people keep making new ones instead of posting in existing ones? Devs only read threads that get a lot of attention.

It's fine how it is.

If anything, I'd like it to give a buff to damage done instead. Most of the time I'm only using it for energy drain damage, and rarely a bigger shield.

Pretty much as above, if Dissipation was an all round potency buff rather than just healing done, it'd be a dramatically more compelling ability.
