ffxivboot dot exe file deleted

Last week my computer was hacked and a virus was put in the dot exe ffxivboot file. My malware found it and deleted the ffxivboot.exe file from my computer. Other viruses were found, computer clean but I cannot find anywhere to download just the boot file.

Does anyone know how I can get just that file or am I going to have to download the entire game again?

no, there is no useable backup There is a ffxivboot.bak but I can't get that to do anything or I don't know how.

Someone on FB sent me a zipped FFXIV boot file and everything works.

Case closed and thanks if you read and scratched your head wondering if there was an answer, there is-- have someone send you a zipped ffxivboot file and all will be well.
