I'm sure no rent no demolish instance houses like an over and a few dollars would be worth it for folks that arent gil-farming slaves..
yes SE , you could sell slightly customization Instance houses no rent no Demolish...
and make a few bucks in the process.

You'd have to rent them and it would incentivize them to do nothing to increase the quality or number of current housing.

I skimmed through your links and it looks really complicated.
Am I right in thinking this is another 'put houses in the mog-shop' thread? If so, I'll just say this: FFXIV is a subscription game that advertises housing as a feature available to all players (yes, it needs an overhaul). We already have storage for rent in the Mog-shop, housing for either purchase or rent would be going too far. No way should we have to pay more money for it.
I did notice with 'standard housing' that items of furniture are not lost even if the house-owner fails to pay for upkeep and loses their house. That is the only thing I'd like Square to copy - all furniture items should be stored indefinitely when a house is reclaimed. It's shameful they have put a time-limit on it.
