RMG Manafication question

all guides seem to indicate the same information re: game play. but i haven't seen any suggest the use of manafication mid-combo. (perhaps because it's nonsensical, but that's what i'm asking to find out, haha)

wouldn't it be behooving to use enchanted riposte (30 mana), enchanted zwerchhau (25 mana), then manafication to double your remaining bit (which will put you over 80), then embolden, and start your combo string again? or maybe enchanted riposte, then embolden, then continue the combo to ensure verholy or verflare makes in the first 4s of the buff?

does that question make sense?

this is presuming others are like me and stock mana from trash pulls etc to 100 for the boss. haha.
that potency adds up to be 2020 with at least 1310 being during the embolden buff.

my math could totes be wrong. i'm definitely not a numbers fan. lol

overall, i'm really loving this class. favorite dps class so far. :) i hope you all are enjoying it as much!

If you're at 100/100 mana and have manafication up, assuming you have a Verstone/fire ready, pop emoblden, do your combo as normal, use the element you don't have Verstone/fire procced for as a finisher then use the proc and the same element Verthunder/aero which puts you at 41/40, then use manafication again and do your combo and finisher again. As long as you're not interrupted by anything, almost every part of it falls under Embolden except maybe the second finisher.

I believe someone mathed it out on the RDM thread and it doesn't pay off to do only part of the combo. As far as when to pop Embolden, I did math this one out and you get 65 extra potency popping Embolden before Riposte as opposed to 55 potency afterwards.

oh! i like that more. simpler, too! haha.

i'm only 65, so i don't see the full picture (including finishers, i mean) yet.. but i'm looking forward to it.

I think I tried once to manafication during a melee combo and it broke the chain so I got screwed. :(

Since the combos are stronger and stronger with a cost lower than the enchanted riposte, plus enchanted redoublement enable a finisher, It's pretty uneffective to use them partialy.

Prismatic is correct you would want to use Manification to as close to 40 as possible (above is fine also)
I see so many bad Red Mages out there that will start a mellee combo at like 30 (maybe less) mana basically right at beginning of fight and then use manification at bellow 40. They are seriously hurting their dps
