I have been following the msq for the new astral era. I'm at the point for good intentions. when I go to take this quest it says I need 3 hard mode primals, which is a recurring problem. my problem is these are started by minfillia in the waking sands. since I have done most of the astral era story line she is no longer in waking sands. she will not give me the next quest till I beat these primals on hard. I'm not sure what to do at this point.
I thought Uriangier gave the hard modes of Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda. Its been a while but I THOUGHT thats where I picked them up.
Uriangeir only gives me the quests for the other primals. i tried to do them and he does not give me the quest to the 3 primals I need. so I am still stuck.
Minfilia gives you A Recurring Problem. She sends you to Urianger. Urianger sends you to Thancred.
Thancred gives you Ifrit Bleeds, We Can Kill It. Complete this quest to unlock the next.
Papalymo gives you In For Garuda Awakening. Complete this quest to unlock the next.
Y'shtola gives you In a Titan Spot.
The quests only ask you to attune to the aetherytes. To unlock the next quest in the chain you must also clear the primal fight (i.e. You must kill Ifrit HM for the Garuda quest to appear and then clear Garuda HM for the Titan quest to appear).
I have been to the waking sands and Uriangeir is the only one that has quests. minfillia gives the quest a recurring problem but now that she is no longer in waking sands I can't take that quest that leads to thancred. support told me I have encountered an in game error because I am unable to take these quests as they are needed to do the main story. they suggested I submit a bug report.
Just to be sure, have you actually entered the Solar in the Waking Sands? The room where Minfillia used to be?
