A Minor Gripe with Paintings

This isn't really a huge deal, but it bugs me, so...

I spent a long-ass time completing the full sightseeing log for Stormblood, and EVERY SINGLE PAINTING IS A SEPIA TONED EYESORE???

I was looking forward to prism lake in glorious watercolour. The hostelry at the very least should be something more than a disgusting sepia mess for the effort involved in getting up there. I would complain less if it was a mix of greyscale/watercolour/sepia like ARR's are, but every single one feels like I was cheated, somehow. I made a grade 3 frame for the prism lake painting in hopes it would look lovely in my house, but I'm just going to be replacing it with something from ARR at this point because they're the only ones that don't look horrible.

Again, it's a little thing, but it bugs me nonetheless.

I was extremely looking forward to having a color picture of Prism Lake when I saw the bubble for it while flying to find them in Yanxia. I was bummed when I saw there was no other option besides the log version :(

I don't understand why there are any sepia-toned paintings at all. I can sort of understand some sort of fakey-authenticity thing but it's disappointing to see a painting for an area you like drained of colour and life to the point where it's not really worth hanging on the wall because it's drab.

I bought some of the kugane pictures, that place that yoship harped on about, that place that is full of life and colour, and it was just so... dull. Like whatever filters they applied to whatever shot they took to make the paintings in the first place didn't need sepiatoning as well.

Speaking of paintings, there still isn't any of the Heavensward areas. Figured those would show up before they made paintings of the Stormblood ones.

I find it weird that the ARR paintings can be put on the MB, yet the SB ones can't be sold on the MB? It doesn't make much sense to me.

Not the first time they dropped the ball known as logic anyway... that or maybe they really want people to clear the kugane jumping quest.
