Monk - direct hit vs critical hit - buying creation gear and dropping savage gear

i hope everyone is doing fine. My question is: i am about to start buying creation gear and dont know if i should choose crit over dh. Some people tell me one thing, others tell me another. The thing is for example if crit is better then i have to get the savage chest, otherwise i have to buy the body. And its a lot of tomestones and i wouldnt want to waste them. I know stat weights are not out so you cannot really tell but what is the general consensus among monks/ is there a particular "bis" set ppl are aiming for ?

I'd be interested to learn this as well. The monk in my static swears my Crit, and he does very good damage so I don't know. I would like that with the exception of bard, direct hit is king because of how the two stats scale.

From what you can find on reddit about BiS and Stat priorities. I would suggest you to prioritize Crit. But, with DH being a really good stat, Det too and SS very important for MNK (AA are nearly 30% of our damages), I would also advice to keep a decent amount of these other stats.
Personaly, I aim for around 1000 Det, 1400-1500 DH and around 2000 Crit. And trying to get around 1100 SS if I can.
I don't claim this is THE BiS, but if you check for posts from The Theoryjerks on reddit, you will find some solid info to make your mind on this.
Sadly, the stat weights will not be released soon it seems :( A BiS solver maybe sooner hopefully.

crit is very important to monk, as it does on bard

crit do increases the dmg of criticals, and surprise, monk has a attack what has 100% chance to do critical if you do the positional(bootshine), so that attack becomes stronger the more crit you have, and since you will use it once every 6 attacks, is a rather big bonus, plus deep meditation requiring critical hits to maibe(50%) give you a chakra stack, i heard what if you need to get around 2000 crit or 2500 crit it makes it worth over dh on monk tho, in short, if you focus all on crit, you will benefit more what if you focus on dh

what is rumored around for a bit now is mnk/brd = crit > dh. every other dd dh > crit if crit is < 3k else crit > dh. I just wonder were dets place is in this statement, not thinking of the minimum sps/sks on several cls'...
