It's time to streamline the passage between expansions

Nothing kills that "I Just hit level 50, defeated the Ultima Weapon, and 'finished' ARR!!" buzz quite like realizing you have several days (depending on time available and luck with duty finder) of errand running ahead of you, pretty much with no reward, before you can finally open up the gates to Ishgard and progress onto the Heavensward content.

Is it going to be this bad again going from Heavensward to Stormblood? I hear the story is excellent but right now that story skip potion is sounding awfully tempting.. which i guess was the idea.

I found the 2.x story better than ARR to be honest. The quest were at least a bit shorter or so it felt. But I can't blame you for feeling the burn knowing Ishgard is just after ... another 100 quests. If you do buy a jump potion, make sure you see the 2.55 cutscenes cause it was quite memorable finale before stepping into Heavensward. :)

The run from HW to Stormblood is much easier than the run from ARR to HW. Shorter, and with better storylines and less errand running.
