Password Lockout Time?

My kid entered the wrong password 2-3x, and when I went to enter the correct password, it says "Because password entry has failed multiple times, you will not be able to log in for several minutes." We waited 10min, but nothing, and it's pretty annoying.

in FFXI it was 30mins. and yes, it's very annoying.
more so when I had a phase where I had to keep altering my password many times in a short period of time.
that's not really any issue atm, but it's always frustrating.
