MNK Rotation

Hey guys so with my opener does really well normally spiking 5k+ however my rotation from then on seems to keep my DPS averaging around 3.5k. My iLv is 325 so I'm sure I can average a bit higher, however, I'm really not sure what im doing wrong...

I am using DK > TS > SP > BS > TruS > SP (adding demolish when it's up). Rest of the skills I'm using as they are up.

Any advice or pointers any experienced monk can give? I missed the whole heavens ward raiding so playing catch up but trying and want to learn :)

Please no "play SAM" I love MNK and want to play MNK :)

Just listing your ilvl and main rotation doesn't help us know how you can improve. What's your full opener? What's your weapon? What melds are you using?

Are talking about dummy or in actual fight?
Also, what is your opener? what are your melds? and your weapon?

Looking at your o2s fights, the issue isn't your rotation. It's a combination of less than ideal uptime on the boss, not riding the gcd hard enough, and saving your off gcds too much(in your best run you only had 13 elixir field uses despite the fight going 10 minutes). It is possible that part of those problems are on your tanks or on your groups strategy though, so little things like making your tanks take the boss north or south after the probes if the safe spot was east or west, or making sure the boss is near the center during the dps unstable gravity will help as well

my opener is the following

Tru north > Demolish > Snap > Snap > Deliverance > Dragon > Riddle of fire > twin > (pot if using one) > TruS > Internal Release > Forbidden chakra > boot > Brothrhood > elixir > TruS > Steel peek > Howling fist > demolish > Shoulder tackle

Then i proceed with the following

DK > TwS > SP > BS > TruS > SP adding demolish and using the OGD as they are up. I time Shoulder tackle with elixir as they are on a 30 second timer each

I do about 4200k+ on my i321 monk with i330 weapon with VI melded gear, no over melds. My stat priority has been Crit > DH > Det> SS

Go hit a dummy, your rotation seems fine. At your ilvl, you can beat every SSS dummy with what you claim you are doing.


Chances are the mechanics of fights arent well known to you to output your maximum potential, when you can get away with positionals and when to do what etc.
Among other things like a bad flow of circumstances and stuff.


Tldr - its probably the fight, not your rotation

Edit - for comparison, this is about what you should be doing. Im 321, sus wep with most DH melds grade 6.

The O2S fight should be higher (It was a bad run)
And theres no O3S/O4S But you get the idea lol
I was doing 4k avg w/o any melds at all around i315.


I dont consider myself a top tier monk either
