XIV causing bizarre constant reboots

I'm just gonna lay this all out there:

Ever since Stormblood launched, when playing XIV and only XIV, my system will sometimes restart in the middle of playing. There is no crash, there is no warning, there is nothing in the event log. It's just a straight system reboot.

I have been dealing with this issue for weeks now, and thus have tried many different ways to isolate the issue, including:
-Temperature monitoring (happens at all temperatures)
-Driver updating (Graphics, sound)
-DirectX 9 and 11 versions and updating.
-Adjusting many different graphics settings in game
-Halting all sound from the game
-Playing in a window vs playing fullscreen
-Full re-download of the game
-Full system reset of windows 10

Nothing in game seems to change how often the game reboots other than when I PvP. When I play the Shatter map, the game tends to cause a reboot once a match.

I do not believe hardware is to blame. I play many other games on my laptop, some which are more resource-hogging than XIV. They run just as they always have, with no issues and no rebooting.

I have searched google and just about everywhere else. I have tried almost everything suggested.

Originally I thought that going into Fullscreen fixed the problem temporarily, but it seems it did not affect the reboots in the end.

I'll take any ideas at this point.
