marriage didnt work?

this may sound kinda stupid to most people but me and my partner are genuinely confused

(im pretty sure) we did everything right, but when we got to the day of the wedding only i was able to go into the dressing room. she didnt get the "the hour has come! blah blah blah" message, she said it looked exactly like before we made the reservation. i tried googling to find a fix for this but our time ran out and we couldnt marry today. so does anyone know what exactly went wrong and how we fix it? we dont want to make the same mistake again

Did she meet all the requirments?

As in:
Bracelet equipped?
Blank invites in her inventory?

Yes, she had all of that

Are your levels high enough and are you both far enough into the MSQ?

They wouldnt have been able to start the quest unless they were both 50 and far enough in the MSQ.

One more thing I can think off: Did she made her choices regarding the ceremony? As in: went in and talked to the guy to confirm what she'd like the wedding to be? Or did you only do that on one character (yours) because you'd go with that anyways? It might be that she has to confirm something - as in: just anything, even the default-setting - there. You can still just pick your plan for the wedding but it might be that she is actually required to talk to... however that guy in the chapell is called and confirm her settings.

We were both level 70, in party (although when she could not get in we tried literally everything including leaving party), had promise band and blank invites in our inventories. Thankfully, it worked last night without a hitch, but it was still very defeating and upsetting the first time around.

SE did not do a damn thing about it, so best you can do is reschedule and hope for the best!

Thanks for the correction, I guess I didn't think that through very well. This is the second thread I've seen of this problem recently, so this may be a bug.
