Given how much SCH relies on Crits and how useless this ability is, change this ability to a guaranteed Crit for Adlo or Succor, with a 15-20 sec CD. Thoughts?

Eh. If they make Dissipation resummon the fairy after it end like they gave Demi-Behamut, or make Aetherflow stacks used under the effect of Dissipation build the Fairy Gauge, it would be in a perfectly fine place. With Quickened Aetherflow working as an indirect buff to Dissipation, it's honestly in a much better place than it was through all of HW.
It isn't useless...just extremely clunky to use. Dissipation is equal to 2400 pot in heals + 20% healing potency for 2400 mana which is more than worth it.
Main issue is that it's best used while AF is under CD, and that you need to remember to resummon your pet. Do any of the above incorrectly and it's value is greatly diminished. Really wish they would make some QOL changes to this skill.
Well i still feel its useless because the healing up doesn't effect the skills it should but yeah its in a better place since quickened Aetherflow changes, if it would resummon pet i'd say its good but since it doesn't i'd prefer a guaranteed Crit over it.
Scholars have been asking for a rework to dissipation since hw. I doubt they have any plans on fixing it ever, unfortunately.
Sch is the worse healer in SB and SE see no reason to improve sch to allow the other healers to shine.
I'd like auto fairy resummon, or auto fairy swap :/
Well tbh the main reason a SCH needs to be using dissipate is when multiple people are low hp/taking hvy damage and need to be topped up for an upcoming mechanic. In which case you'd be using ET -> succor + indom + lustrates. The 20% will pay for itself after 2 succors, and the 2400 worth of potency should pay for itself almost immediately.
If I know mana will become a problem in the fight a lot of times I'll use up all my AF stacks asap, pop rouse + fairy skills, and dissipate for the 2400 potency worth of free healing (~6400 mana worth). It's true I need to resummon fairy afterwards but it's still an overall gain in mana. I find that it relieves a lot of pressure in a mana-heavy fight.
I main scholar and the only time I ever use dissipation is when the boss is almost dead that way I don't have to worry about the time wasted resummoning the fairy.
