Are either of these available from somewhere? I've been wanting to try HQing or setting multiple materia on them for friends but I can't find any current information on where to get them ever since they changed leve rewards in 1.18.

I got 3 scarred each from lvl 40 leves in gridania in 1.19. honestly shields make no difference, if you're going for multiple materia just try for a regulare kite, easier to get and easier to make.
Thank you! I can't do the regular Kite since i don't have Armorer anywhere near high enough to make them/set materia but my Carpenter is 50.
Vintage Kite Shield +1 = weild rate 95
Gridanian Buckler = weild rate 168 (may look like a dessert plate but it works :))
If you are a Twin Adder just go for that.
