New Player to FFXIV

Hello everyone,
My name is Yaroth. I came to FFXIV from Aion another MMORPG. I have had a copy of FFXIV for a long while, I did have a level 21 character back about 6 months ago, but with all the recent changes I saw no point of continuing with that character. Also didn't find anyone to play with at the time, had 1 friend come with me from Aion, but we don't speak to each other anymore.
What I would like to say is I am a friendly person and I can pick up games rather quickly and get into them. At the moment I have a level 12 conjurer which I will be leveling for the next couple weeks. Hopefully I will be able to find some more people to play with because the potential of this game in the coming months will be great. For anyone that read this, thank you for taking the time. Yeah would be great to have someone around to kill stuff. Last night I got to level 13 by annihilating dozens of Dodo's. If your around my level then we can do some of those little dungeon type things. I never got into much of it when I played a while back. I will probably be ingame at that time. I am also EST time zone so send me a tell or just reply here.

I'm new to the game as well, and confused about a lot of things lol.
I am having a lot of fun so far except for the fact that there is no one to talk/listen to while playing.
If anyone has a reccomendation for a linkshell, please let me know.
If Emlyn and Yaroth want, we can start a linkshell.
I may be wrong, but people in this game don't seem to be very concerned with new players.
Everyone I saw was busy hacking at a node or sawing on something lol.
Well hopefully I can find a group of people to talk to soon.

There already some LS recruiting posts in the Cornelia forum. if you guys are looking for a Linkshell you can read some of them and then contact the leaders ingame.
