Base Sub ($12.99), cannot delete other/2nd character

So, I have the base subscription - $12.99, one char only. I have an old character on my screen which I no longer play, nor plan on doing any time soon. But I cannot delete him? Why? Do I have to get the higher subscription, enable him, and delete him that way? Makes no sense.

Q - Is there a way to delete the 2nd character on the entry level sub without getting the higher paying sub?

There's no way to delete the other character without upgrading to Standard sub temporarily. You could change your subscription now and it'll prorate you the difference based on the numbers of days left (so, it would be 6 cents if you waited until the last day of your sub to do it) - but if you do, just make sure you immediately cancel the recurring subscription and set it back up for Entry afterwards.
