Paid transfers

I moved off Balmung because of the 90k crashes and 3hr queues out of frustration but now I really do miss my friends... a lot. I am a big RPer and even tried to start a rp scene on a server I went to but to be in call with all of my friends hearing them have fun RPing and doing events on Balmung makes me a rather upset person, to the point of not wanting to play this game and cancel my sub til I can transfer again. I will gladly pay double to move back to be with my friends again if thats what it takes. They will never move from that server and I desperately want back in.

I know its my fault and I should have waited, but I can't change my past mistake I can only be hopeful that they will open the server again so I can be reunited with my friends on their server.

You knew what you was getting yourself into...doubt Balmung will be open for quite a while.

Sorry to hear that, think of it as a training adventure you can tell when you come back. While it is frustrating giving up seems like the easy way out. Eventually they may open it up again, for now however I would make new friends,

Thank you for the idea, I just wish Square would support their servers better and expand on the ones that are congested instead of just waiting to see if people will leave. I have made a few friends and making the best of it that I can. I will keep my hopes up and fingers crossed that sometime in the future that the servers will open again to at least paid transfers, my wallet is ready and waiting for it XD

That I do and I regret it thoroughly but I will keep my hopes up that it will open again, might take it 2-3 months but its money that Square knows people will give them.

Nothing personal, but I hope they never open Balmung again. We don't need to be recreating the same problem they're desperately trying to fix now.

With the attitude of most Balmung players, Balmung will open up to transfers when hell frezzes over. since balmung would have to loose about half its popluation to come even close to being open to transfers/new charicters. sadly the only real RP community in game is on balmung. As for expaning the server structor, that is easier said than done, which I surpect has something to do with 1.0 code still left in the backend of FFXIV

You are aware that the only reason it became a problem was do to returning players and the expansion right? SE focused and even rewarded for leaving Balmung as an incentive that players took of their own free. I'm glad other servers were mellow, it doesn't take a genius to see that this was going to happen specially after HW.

Correction Balmung is one of the largest RP community servers. Not all players are bad in Balmung so please don't judge unless you have minimum spent a year in Balmung. My main is in Balmung and been on since it was established. I've yet to meet enough players with attitudes unless they are provoked. I will give you this, Balmung players for the majority are end game, so there could be some conflict for people who try to do end game or other content with them and don't understand the basics in mechanics.

In the mean time you can cross server party, did you guys use discord? can communicate that way as well and do at least some content together while you wait ^^.
