Blm or Smn to level next?

Heya so I finished leveling Rdm and Ast and currently just working on light farming for Ast's Anima weapon and I was thinking about what caster job to level next. I was considering Smn at first since I always did enjoy it in ARR and HW and now that we get the carbuncles back as pets for Smn, it would be nice to level it again, but I hear current Smn is a bit janky. So I've no idea if I should do Smn or just go ahead and do Blm next and have Smn for last.

What would you guys suggest?

(p.s. I really wish SE would have added the Unidentifiable Allagan Tomestones and all SCoB mats to the poetics list cause trying to get people to help me get one is difficult x_x)

go with blm for now even though i find smn funner, they just arent in a good place atm.
