4.0 MP and PIE Formulas

I haven't seen this posted anywhere as far as I could see, so thought I'd put it down here for my own reference and anyone else who'd like to see it.

WHM and AST MP
Base MP: 13878.9369526
Each point of PIE gives an additional 3.4282983 MP

SCH MP
Base MP: 13319.4149
Each point of PIE gives an additional 3.2896750 MP

I actually don't know if the amount % of MP restore per server tick while in combat has actually changed. I'm personally a little disappointed in the amount of MP each point of PIE gives given the increases in spell costs due to level.

Extra tidbit - each tick of Lucid Dreaming provides 960 MP back to the user. I haven't done an actual test on The Ewer but it should give back 600 MP per tick as a 50 potency Refresh versus Lucid Dreaming's 80 potency.

Neat. Does the amount you get from Lucid Dreaming go up if you add PIE?

I don't have the means to test that ATM since I'm at work but in the past the MP restored from Shroud of Saints / Luminious Aether remained the same regardless of the caster's MP pool size so I imagine Lucid Dreaming is the same.

No, Refreshes only scale with your level.

MP ticks infight restore 2% of MP, not sure how much it was in HW.

before tick: 16186MP
after tick: 16557MP
dif: 371MP
max mp: 18586
371/18586 ~2%

It was 2% in HW too. I wasn't expecting it to change but always good to verify data just in case.

For reference as well - in HW each point of PIE was worth 6.467 MP/PIE for AST and WHM and 6.199 MP/PIE for SCH.

Interesting that the value went down so much. Thanks for the info!
