DPS limit break option for tank jobs.

Would it be possible to give tanks a DPS limit break option? Our defensive tank limit break

is never really used and not really an option in most raid/instances (not counting a12) and

more often then not I find myself as well as healers having to call out to the DPS to limit

break during raid encounters. Was thinking if we can have a DPS limit break option when

in sword oath, dark side and deliverance and then a defensive limit break option when in

tank stance. Any thoughts, opinions and constructive criticism welcomed :p

I actually like the idea of gaining a dps limit break while in our offensive stances. I don't think I have ever use my tank limit break since I started playing the game and couldn't even tell you where it would be useful. I can also agree that I have had many time where I would call out for a dps to limit break where it would of been nice to be able to myself.

My thoughts on it would be it would probably be the same as a mele dps limit break. Although it could be something more unique while doing a bit less damage but having an additional effect like giving the raid some sort of buff or debuff the boss.

But then only tanks would be using the LB because a DPS using it would be a DPS loss compared to a tank using it.

tank lb if it's not scripted, it's not need....sadly...if SE make tank lb3 put invincibility for 10sec to all party members, that woulb be a dps gain...becase ppl do not have to dodge aoes

Tank LBs are used for covering mechanic screwups, surviving intense damage (Alexander 12S is the latest I can think of), and in one really disgusting use of it, to cheat the Zurvan Ex mechanic that required a second tank.

I think it's fine as it is. It's rarely a demanded mechanic, but so is Healer LB 3. Heck, most of the DPS LB 3 aren't used either, it's the meta to always use the melee LB for max boss damage.

I think it might be more worth looking at buffing Tank LB in general so it doesn't feel like a waste. If healer LB3 saves a wipe, tank LB3 should prevent a wipe imo (too weak to do that atm).

I don't know about a DPS lb persay, but I mean, its doable if they link it to tank stance. That being said I'd prefer not having it. Leave the damage job to the DPS.

How about increased healing and damage dealt on top of what we already have on tank LB3? At least that would be a huge gain for everyone in raid and tanks no longer would have to be chewed out for by DPS or healers for using LB3 when it would have gone to waste anyone as fight dragged on for new people...

Just make tank lb 3 invincible to all damage, prevents wipe and huge dps gain
