Square Enix has the dumbest policies
For whatever reason, I had 2 "service accounts". The first one had the original game, the second had the complete edition that came with Heavensward which is the one I obviously wanted to use. I decided to start playing again, accidentally bought the subscription for the wrong account. I find out the mistake I made, I contact customer service, and it turns out there is literally nothing they can do about anything. Imagine you go to the store and you buy something, but it turns out you don't want it or can't use. You go to the store, and they tell you they can't help you. It shows they are after your money and don't care about you in the slightest. They won't make any effort to try to accommodate your needs in order to keep a customer. I suppose that $15 was worth the subscription time I would have originally been happy to pay for at least a year. It's my fault for agreeing to something I didn't read, but such a horrible policy shouldn't have even been invented in the first place.
