woah no replys? im sure everyone has this problem ;(
Not Really. I just chocobo everywhere.
Be nice if there is a job like time mage or something that can teleport to anywhere.
I think that the Anima alone has a reasonable recharge time. I think what you're suggesting, Zemeckis is that they make to so you can teleport anywhere whenever because of your use of extreme and much. That's just not a realistic compromise though, you couldn't even teleport anywhere in WoW whenever you want.
An easier compromise would be granting anima more uses, like buying items for reraise, raise, warping (if they got rid of return), etc. and more ways of obtaining it, like levequests, killing mobs, use of a signet, etc. Much like conquest points in XI.
To me, it feels like anima and return are kind of just tacked on. They have no explanation whatsoever as to what they are... and they're in the UI, not in the real game. And return is called.... RETURN. WTF? Which is just weird to me. Now, I'm not some "immersionist" but I at least like some things to be explained, because this is an RPG, not a UI game like... Tetris. Mainly because I like practical realism in my games.
I believe anima was explained as some form of internal energy that synchronizes with aetherytes - allowing one to instantly transport to them.
As for the recharge rate - it's perfectly fine. Stop spamming it and explore a little. Once you gain a personal chocobo you'll be more than pleased.
I used to consider anima recharge to be a bit slow. Now we have chocobos and airships and it's quite reasonable.
Personal chocobos and airships really made the anima regen rate not so much of a problem for me. Been playing for two months at about 4+ hours of play per day and im still in the 60's. One thing I could suggest is taking a few days off from playing, it helps me to boost the anima back up when im running a bit low.
yea if youre lazy and feel the need to teleport to camp horizon when ur already in uldah then ur gonna run out fast. making use of your 3 favorite sites is also good for saving anima. and setting your homepoint strategically helps as well. like right now i have my hp at turning leaf for moogle, and my 3 favorites at broken water dragonhead and iron lake for strongholds. when i wanna get back to town i just warp to the nearest city for only 2 anima and then airship.
