Fishing log glitch

Steps:
1. I exchanged for the item tomes of ichthyological folklore - Abalathia's Spine in
2. Pressed USE and it was loading (redeemed)
3. Item went up in the air, but never registered to my fishing log
4. Can't trade for another one since it's an UNIQUE item
5. But according to the log it's in my inventory
6. Did a full search but no matches for the tome.
7. Don't have access to the fishes that are being unlocked through the item.

The icon in the fishing log remain pink even after you use the tome. And most of the fish are fairly rare, so don't expect to catch them on the first try.

Hm.. I guess I will go try do some fishing again then. My stats should be somewhat better since I'm using the lvl 290 StormBlood gear compared to what I had from Heavensward.

When you get the tome and have used it, and you haven't caught the red fish yet and hover cursor over the fish icon, it should say something like "Required Knowledge: Tome of Ichtyological Folklore - Abalathia's Spine (in inventory)". Pay attention to the (in inventory) part because if that's there, then you have it and you have access to those fish.
