Palace of the dead ps4 unterface issue

Hi guys,

Recently I returned to the wonderful world of ffxiv and am having a blast leveling my character through PotD. I primarily play on ps4 and have encountered a weird issue whenever i descend a floor my winfow focuses on either the map or character screen if open, as in the little hand that you normally click the touchpad and thus usually results in a few seconds of frustration when i resize the window. Is there anyway to turn this feature off or am i stuck trying to remember to cancel it every time?

If it's the issue I think you are talking about, then that's been there since the be beginning of POTD being introduced. When I first enter it focuses on the character screen to which I back out normally with a quick press of O. Though when moving to a new floor, it's then focused on the map and I'd have to back out again with O, just the one press.

You can resize the windows and this should be saved to whatever size you pick. Alternatively you can disable the mouse feature of the touch pad so that it doesn't move (it's very sensitive after all), but still can use it as the left and right click. But I never found a way to stop it from focusing on the character or map window after changing floors aside from cancel....

That is my exact issue, I have already disabled the touch pad as a mouse but i use r3 to draw weapon and usually am trying to do thst immediately for cards etc on my Ast, shame no fix though but thank you for confirming im not the only one with this issue
