Please fix / buff/ whatever Quick Synthesis

We are in 2 star stats now for 70, Why am I breaking level 64-68 materials off quick synth? I should not be breaking these things when they are 100% in 1 or 2 hits. Things take too long to do when you still have to craft each mat by itself and I just broke 2/7 twin silk just now, using the 300 yellow scrip tool + melding the 290 gear that gives me more stats then yellow script gear.

I mean it is not exactly hard to meld better then the yellows:

Basically I am asking why am I am sill breaking with the best currently out there.

I haven't broken anything under star using quick synth since I hit 1345 Craftmanship but I may need to do quick synth more just to check. So it may have to do with a your Craftmanship to prevent breaking.

I can't seem to find where I read it recently but someone posted somewhere else that they have over 1500 craftsmanship and still fail some quicksynths.

I noticed that too. Not into big stats yet or anything, but I have stats over the required, seeing a lot of failures (like a LOT), and last try got zero HQ off old 50 stuff. Something is up.

Yeah, I didn't have this problem in HW. I could start reliably quick synthing almost everything once I got my white set. I hope this isn't a new direction they're planning to take because quick synth was already kind of underwhelming as it is.

I've been lucky, did around 100 items the other day with no loss items. This was before melding too.

I'm unsure if there's a formula for quick synth, but I do remember last xpack they patched a fix for quick synth when you had a certain level of craft.

I think Mr. Mootowncow is right. If he is then the yellow script set isn't completely useless after all, its the quick synth set. Fails are the price of quick synthing though, I don't really mind them.

Yeah, I think so, to a degree at least. I'm ilvl 290 on my character doing quick synth and I'll get 1 fail, 1 HQ, and the rest normal in 50 ~ 75 quick synths with lvl 68 stuff. I still think that 1 fail is wrong. I shouldn't fail anything and I should have more HQ.

That said, I do think there is something wrong with the lvl 64 ~ 66 quick synth. I get far more failures quick synthing worsted string (as an example) than I do with twinthread. This with a weaver that 290 ilvl. It seems hinky. It could be just really bad luck but it's been consistent for the entire time I've been level 70 in each of my classes.

Idea: SE should allow us to create a new item "Quick Synth Concoction" (ALC only) that last 10 min and allows Quick Synth to be 100%.
