[Chaos][LFM][C/MC] Newly formed static looking for melee DPS and/or ranged DPS

EDIT: Filled the SAM/MNK slot. Only looking for BRD/MCH/NIN/DRG now.

We are a newly formed casual-midcore static on Odin server looking to fill the remainder of our roster for Omega Savage and future extreme primals. We are aiming for a chill and relaxed atmosphere but where people are focused and give their all during raids so that we can progress through the content at a steady pace. Many of us work full time and can't afford to spend every free evening raiding so we are aiming for a more casual raid schedule with 2 raid days per week, with a 3rd possible raid day if people are up for it (such as when we are close to killing a boss and want to make the final push). Most weeks we expect to raid 2 days however. During those 2-3 days we expect the group members to give their all, and show up prepared and with a good amount of focus so that we can make the most out of the time we have.

We are currently looking to fill the following roles:

* Either ranged DPS (Bard or Machinist) OR melee DPS (Ninja or Dragoon) (One of our players is flexible between the two roles, so either works)


The current comp is: PLD, DRK, WHM, AST, RDM, SAM and BRD/NIN.

We expect the following from applicants to the group (you can expect the same from us):

* A working microphone as well as good understanding of English.
* The ability to use Discord for group communications.
* A willingness to learn and improve. We do not require vast amounts of previous raiding experience, but we expect you to want to learn and improve at the role you play as well as raiding in general.
* A willingness to stay up to date with the role you play. Knowing which gear to aim for, the rotations to use as well as other theorycrafting.
* That you will come prepared to raids, with food, potions and be read up on the fights we are doing. We also expect you to keep pace with gaining gear outside of raids to the best of your ability (capping on tomestones every week, getting proper melds, getting crafted gear pieces that are good for your class etc).
* A willingness to join in discussions after a wipe for how we can improve and not make the same mistakes again. We want to use our time efficiently, and to do so communication is key. We are not looking for members who just want to pull and pull and pull and keep wiping to the same mechanic when a short discussion could solve the problems we are having.
* A good understanding of how your class plays (rotations, openers etc). We want to start doing savage content asap, and would as such prefer that you have the basics down already.
* A chill attitude. People can get frustrated and emotions can flare at times, we have all had it happen to us, but we expect people to both have the maturity to deal with this, as well as the ability to take and give criticism, and to try their best to be pleasant to be around. Wipes happen, people make mistakes, it is not the end of the world.

We are not looking to become a hardcore or semi-hardcore group. Number of raid days will stay this way and we don't have aspirations to do speed-running or selling runs or similar. If you are looking for those aspects of raiding then we are not the right group for you.

We would ideally like to see that you already have your weapon and accessories from Susano EX as well as Lakshmi EX, or equivalent crafted/Omega Normal gear. This is to allow us to focus on the new Omega savage rather than have to go back and kill old content to make sure that you are properly geared and ready. Exceptions to this can be made however, especially now with the addition of the crafted 320 gear. Previous raiding experience from Heavensward/A Realm Reborn or other MMOs is not required as long as you have a solid understanding of your class and show a willingness to learn. All of the current members have previous raiding experience that we are willing to share.

Raid days are still a bit up in the air, but will most likely be Tuesdays and Thursdays (18:00 to 22:00 server time - Or two lockouts + breaks) with the third raid day (when we decide to use it) sometime during the weekend. The current members are spread out over several servers, but most of us are on Odin. We are more than happy to have people from other servers on Chaos DC as well. All we require for communication is that you are willing to join a Discord group that we can use for coordination (We will likely set up a LS for Odin players as well).
