Hello,
I am looking for a Free Company for my family (me, my fiance, and our son). Obviously I would prefer an FC that is more on the family-friendly side of things. The occasional curse words aren't an issue. I am more concerned with general disregard for the humanity of other people than I am with specific hot button issues. We're just looking for good people to enjoy the game with and have minimal drama (we have more than enough here at home :p).

Hey, Ghost of Vana'diel is a smaller FC (about 20-30 active members, anywhere from 2-20 on at a given time), and we are very open to family and work life. We understand when family or work calls and don't mind if you have to drop even if we're in the middle of a dungeon or trial. We are a social/mid core FC, and we do all sorts of events in game. We also love to help people get caught up with the MSQ by running dungeons and trials with them. We are mostly NA EST/CST time zone but there's almost always someone online. We have no drama, we're all respectful and are here just to have fun. Feels a bit late to the party here, but my FC is the Moonlit Black Cats, better known as «Cats». (Especially since there's another FC that has the same main name, but in all lowercase. Not to be confused. x_x)
Our FC is a very small one with 34 members and no inactive policy (so a few of these are 100% inactive x_x), and one of our founding principles is actually that we keep things family-friendly to make an environment where everyone belongs. It's a very small company, but we try to be close-knit and encourage our members to be social and invite each other to duties. We consider ourselves a casual FC. We don't have any events right now, though we plan to in the future, and we're kind of spread out through the timezones.
We try to make our FC into a family by its own right, in general. I know it may be too late by now, but the points of contact for «Cats» right now are Saralene Starsong, Mireille Lightheart, and Roto Mola, although myself and Mireille may be a bit busy for a small few days ahead. Anyone with a rank of Black Cat (member list here) is also qualified to invite. We generally give a short interview to new members to make sure they'll fit in well with us and get to know them a bit first.
