ERROR (-24202)

I'm trying to upgrade my account from free to FINAL FANTASY® XIV ONLINE COMPLETE EDITION [PC DOWNLOAD] (before anyone asks, yes I am playing on PC) and I get a page with error 24202 and cant complete the registration. I just purchased the code and it seems to accept the code. I get this error at the last step. I tried contacting support but the page just keeps reloading rather than directing me to support. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. I'm not in the habit of just trowing away 59.99 USD.

Edit: I just tried again and it gets to the confirm transfer(the screen with the violet border around the text)when I click next I get the error screen. The exact message for the error is this;

A technical issue has occurred.
Try accessing the site again. If the issue still has not been resolved, please contact the Square Enix Support Center.

I am still unable to access the support page of the website.
