Here we thought they'd force spawn him so it wouldn't be a wasted slot. This is pretty poor design SE and does nothing but upset the players who waited for him. If you're going to have an obnoxious fate with a ridiculous window then that's fine, but at least don't make us wait for absolutely nothing.
How long were you waiting? You need to make peace with the idea that the game can go down at any time for maintenance and that you agreed to that when you accepted the terms and conditions upon the creation of your account. Furthermore, Ixion will spawn again countless times in the days and weeks to come. You don't need to live your life around it.
They add instances back, resulting in 3x Ixion spawns and people still find something to complain about.
I do understand your frustration, OP. Same thing happened here last Monday. Ixion's window opened right on the day of maintenance. We tried camping anyways to no avail. It's unfortunate, but they're not gonna force spawn it for us.
That said, instances are back. So, dealing with Ixion will be much more easier now.
Considering only instance 1 ever spawned Ixion on Cactuar, I'm not really complaining. Of course there won't be forced spawning lol.
