A Few Issues I Have With Stormblood!

No Insults or Trolls Please! This is only my opinion.

1. Players are forced to only focus on one job(out of 15 btw) like in HW because of weekly gear/tomestone lockouts. Why SE did not implement a similar lockout for each role and not as the character is beyond my understanding!

2. So according to some players, I should just roll another Character being forced to do the entire storyline again, lose all my achievements earned on my main and not be able to use any of my purchased items from the mog station because of it only being one per character....yea no! Plus, I refuse to pay $25 to skip the story as I have already done it when I can easily play those same jobs on my main character but can't based on these artificial limits.

3. I find absolutely no point to crafting in Stormblood! Right now to me, Gil is absolutely worthless....so why even continue trying to make more? To buy a house? What houses? My server hasn't had a lot open for purchase in 6 months! Use gil to buy crafted 320 gear? Why? It will become nothing more than glamour after I get a replacement piece and after patch 4.1 320 gear will be so easy to get that all that Gil I spent was wasted for only a few weeks of being decently geared....so what is the point?

4. I refuse to play anything but my main a Tank! Why? I work....and I work late hours coming home sometimes 3AM in the morning when my FC members are no longer awake. What? Can't you make a PF to find more players if I am a DPS? Try it! Go into you game, create a PF for a Expert dungeon even with you and another DPS and see how long you wait for a tank to join! Come back and tell how long you waited to have one show up....I would love a truthful answer to this!

So after laying out all my issues currently in SB....it is a amazing expansion that is limited in scope plagued by artificial restrictions to force players to sub not trying to keep them active based on actually replayable content and gameplay but based on unneeded and untruthful restrictions so they artificially throttle the game. Sad!

On Aether, I host plenty of PF's for DPS or anyone to piggyback ride off me to shorten Q times.
As a Tank/Heal of course.

As a DPS, I use it and my average Q time using DF is probably 20-30 minutes, in PF I kindly ask for a
healer of Tank to come help me and other DPS and I get one of the two in 10 minutes or so.

So yes, PF is your friend. People should use it more. You can really get kind souls to come and help! :o

The highest tome lockout has been a thing since pre heavensward, including 24 man 1 piece a week restrictions, it's just the way it is.

The only cap atm is creation, verity gear is more than good enough to gear up until then and is not capped weekly.

It's not SEs fault you can only play at 3am, have you tried a server with a local timezone that'll be active when you are? Oh and Im a BLM main with a fairly average ilvl 312, dungeon queues haven't been out of the ordinary for a dps since the expansion launched.

1. I do wish we could gear multiple jobs each week, but I understand why they have it set up like they do. The longer it takes you to gear out all your jobs the longer you pay a sub. I can deal with that.

2. It sounds like you don't know that you can level multiple jobs on one character. You can. Leveling another job doesn't mean rolling a whole new character. Perhaps you are being facetious in an attempt to make a point, but it comes off like you don't understand the basics of the game.

3. I find crafting/gathering/gil quite useful, I'm shocked you don't. I just bought a large house a few weeks ago, I see plots opening up weekly. Again, I feel like you are just trying to find something to complain about.

4. This is nothing new to Stormblood, or MMO's for that matter. I'm not sure what you're trying to complain about here honestly.

So I guess your only real gripe is not being able to gear multiple jobs due to the weekly cap rate. You had to make a list of ridiculous complaints just to try and point that out? Sad!

They really should let you have a weekly tome cap PER JOB. It would encourage people to level up more jobs, but once the main tome comes along you feel like you have to focus down on one. It's great at launch, because with Verity you could gear up multiple jobs and everything could be even, but not so much now (well unless you raid).

This is all planned. Remember, in HW people hit this same wall until the relics got released. Then they had something to do in game asides from gearing up.

PFs fill on my server even at 3am local time. Are you writing decent descriptions for them or just slamming them up and expecting tanks/healers to rush to join a PF that looks exactly like a roulette invite with fewer rewards? I'll gladly join PFs and help out but only if they look interesting.
