Hey everyone. It’s Mica, from MicaDoesStuff on Twitch.
Just want to let you know that with the wonderful changes SE made I decided to do something I haven’t done since version 1 way back in 2010…roll a new character!
So, on July 29-30 at 2pm est I am going to be hosting an event to support new players and experience the game a whole new way, by starting at level 1 and doing a marathon run to see how far I can get in just 2 days’ time.
Since I am starting fresh I thought it would be a great time for those of you who wanted to roll and alt, try out a new server or for those who want to try the game for the first time or are new and want others to play with, to come and join me.
Just to speed things up slightly I will be rolling a healer and using my pre-existing FC for exp buffs, but no other advantages that are not given in game. I have a solo-ish FC atm so if you want to take advantage of the buffs, you are more than welcome to join but are under no obligation to stay.
I will also have discord running if you want to live chat, a linkshell for those who do not want to join the FC but want to chat or are on a free trial and of course I will be streaming all day, with just minor breaks for stretches and nourishment.
So, come join the fun in game or on Twitch, I am hoping it will not only be a hoot, but a hoot and a half.
Why am I doing this? Why not! I haven’t leveled a job (outside nin/acn of course) from level 1 since Version 1 back in 2010/11 and never alongside the storyline. So, I decided that since there is no more horrid sub job or cross class abilities required that now is the perfect time to give it a go.
That is Saturday July 29th and Sunday July 30th @2pm est, Sargatanas server. Be sure to create that character early so you don’t get stuck on the character creation.
